=MARKET BUZZ: Malaysia KLCI Likely Sideways In Cautious Trade; 1705-1727 Tipped
KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 08) -- Malaysia's KLCI likely to move sideways on lack of fresh triggers; index ended flat at 1719.05 yesterday. Overnight Dow Jones up 0.3%, on stronger risk appetite and optimism U.S. will push through tax changes. Brent crude rose 1.6% to $62.20/barrel. "Index is expected to continue to move sideways before window dressing activities kick-in by next week. The focus will also be on ringgit movement," says dealer at local brokerage. "The current cautious market tone should persist ahead of the weekend, with most investors sidelined given the absence of positive domestic leads," says TA Securities in investor note. Index tipped between 1705-1727 for the day.
